“KNOW YOUR WORTH, STEP OUT ON FAITH”
How it Began
In 2013, I started working in a local Kansas City Homeless shelter. Not knowing that it was the road that would lead me to my true calling, to help others the way God would have me do as a Pastor with integrity and honesty. Assisting men in transitional living has become my mission so that I can reach the community and be able to make a difference by helping one person at a time.
Winter hit Kansas City with below-zero temperatures in January 2021, the homeless communities were hit the hardest. Many of the men that I had been working with were coming into the shelter with frostbite, losing limbs, and dealing with Covid-19 all while being homeless. Two men in the homeless community that I built relationships with froze to death, this is when I knew I had to take action. I started Sent1OneMinistries.
